Ponzu Glazed Grouper with Steamed Black & White Chinese Rice
 
Ingredients:  
2 pieces Ocean Jewel Grouper Portions
1 tsp Grape seed oil
1/2 tsp Sesame seed oil
4 tbsp Ponzu soya
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
1/2 tsp Crushed garlic
2 oz Seaweed Salad
1/2 tsp Sesame seeds (toasted)
1/4 cup Chinese black and white rice
1 tbsp Rice wine vinegar
1/4 tsp Sugar
 
DIRECTIONS:

1. Steam the rice separately; add the rice wine vinegar and sugar. Blend together. Set aside and keep warm.

2. Lightly season the Ocean Jewel Grouper Portion with salt and pepper. Heat pan to medium high heat. Add the grape seed and sesame seed oil. Fry fish flesh side down first for about 3-4 minutes. Turn over and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

3. Remove fish from pan. Add the Ponzu, oyster sauce and garlic; let reduce for a couple of minutes.

4. Place the grouper portion on top of your steamed rice, glaze with the Ponzu and garnish with the seaweed salad and toasted sesame seeds. Serve.
